Here at The Kimberley School, we believe it is the right of every student to be able to do their best and nobody has the right to interfere with their learning. This is why there is a calm, work focused atmosphere around the school. Learning is at the very core of what we do and we enjoy it. We spend a lot of time supporting our students so they can become successful and it feels as though we spend almost as much time celebrating their success. Perhaps that’s why Anna Soubry MP said at our recent Awards Evening that the school feels right, “you can almost taste it!”
We value the friendly relationship between our students and their teachers. To quote our last Ofsted report, “the school is a happy and harmonious community which students value and are proud to be part of.”
Earlier this year our students got together to write a mission statement which captures their attitude to their work.
As students of The Kimberley School, we strive to work to the best of our ability and achieve our maximum potential It is our responsibility to create an environment that allows productive and independent learning. This can be accomplished through respect and determination from us all.
At The Kimberley School we have high expectations and want to build on the great work that pupils and staff have achieved over the years, with our GCSE and A Level results still being above the national average.
